GRANTS AND AWARDS
TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP
The EPC awards a number of scholarships as a contribution towards the travel, registration and accommodation costs of:
• young participants (<35 years)
• basic scientists (no age limit)
• Eastern Europeans (no age limit)
The deadline for applications is 3rd April, 2009. Applicants will be advised of the outcome of their applications by 24th April, 2009.
Successful applicants must attend the whole Main Meeting, otherwise the travel scholarship will be allocated to somebody else. The scholarships will be paid out at the meeting.
Applicants must be the first and presenting author on an abstract that has been accepted by the Abstract Selection Committee. The criteria for the award will include the merit of the abstract as judged by the scores awarded by the EPC abstract selection committee.
The amount of the awards:
• For Hungarian applicants: €250
• Applicants from neighbouring countries: €350
• Applicants from other European countries: €500
• Applicants from non-European countries: €600

The awards will be solely based on the scores awarded by the EPC abstract selection committee.
